We also represent clients in disputes arising from competition law violations. We have experience in representing clients in claims arising from violations of European Union competition law through cartel agreements in the sale and purchase of heavy goods vehicles, and in disputes concerning the cessation of unfair competition.
We participated in commenting on the draft amendment to the Act on Medicines and, in this context, also filed a complaint with the European Commission due to the inconsistency of the proposed amendment to the Slovak law with primary European Union law (specifically, a violation of the principle of free movement of goods and services in the internal market of the European Union).
We provide our clients with legal advice in the area of competition, for example in the assessment of vertical agreements between manufacturers and distributors of goods, and we have provided a legal opinion for a client concerning the prevention of cartel agreements between manufacturers and distributors of medical devices on the Slovak market.
